Question: What time is check-in and check-out?
Answer: Check-in commences at 3PM and check-out is by 11AM.

Question: What is your cancellation policy?
Answer: Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night room and tax.

Question: What is your deposit policy?
Answer: All reservations must be guaranteed either by valid credit card or by prepayment of a deposit. For stays from November 20, 2020 to January 2, 2021, a deposit equal to one night's stay will be charged at the time of reservation. 

Question: Are you an adult only hotel?
Answer: Yes. Due to the historically significant nature of the property and to provide our guests a relaxing environment, we are an adults only facility. We ask that all guests be 16 years of age or older.

Question: Is there a daily breakfast?
Answer: Yes. We offer a daily European Continental Breakfast served in the breakfast area of the "General Store" building. We rotate items seasonally, however, fresh baked goods, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruits, cereals, custom coffee roast and juices remain fairly consistent.

Question: Do you have in-room dining?
Answer: Although there is not a restaurant on site, we will have a local service that will deliver from area restaurants to your guest room.

Question: Are the artifacts on site authentic?
Answer: Yes, all artifacts, statues and historic markers are authentic. Some artwork is original to the Dow Property.

Question: Is there a bar or restaurant at your hotel?
Answer: We do have a bar, The Well, that opens early afternoon. We have a mixologist crafting custom cocktails alongside a menu of light bites.

Question: How many rooms do you have?
Answer: We have 30 individually appointed rooms spanning 9 historic buildings on our property.

Question: What is included with the guest rooms and stay?
Answer: The $35/night amenity fee includes a European Continental Breakfast served from 7AM – 10AM daily. Breakfast includes freshly baked breakfast pastries, fresh sliced fruit and berries, assorted cereals, yogurt, smoked salmon, prosciutto, brie cheese, coffee, decaffeinated coffee and tea. Valet parking, property history tours (3x/week), WiFi, heated pool access, turndown service, bicycles, lawn games, access to online magazines & newspapers, and afternoon snacks and bottled spring water are also included.

Question: How close is your property to the heart of Downtown St. Augustine?
Answer: We are located at 149 Cordova Street. Some downtown attractions are across the street and various centers of attractions are a 2 minute walk from the property.

Question: Do you allow pets on property?
Answer: We are a dog friendly hotel. We allow 2 dogs per room, maximum weight of 35 pounds for $60 per dog, per stay. A $250 refundable deposit is required. Reservations must be made through our concierge, 904-209-5800.

Question: Do you allow smoking on property?
Answer: We are a smoke-free property, but there are designated smoking areas on property at the Fire Pits.
